Housekeeper II

Responsible maintaining cleanliness standards for assigned areas including maintaining hard floor surfaces and carpet surfaces. Follows hospital, departmental, and regulatory agency requirements. Responsible for providing a safe, sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: * Follows department cleaning and floor care maintenance procedures for assigned areas. * Maintains hard floor and carpet surfaces: strips, cleans, waxes and buffs floors; vacuums and cleans carpets, in some cases operates power driven equipment such as floor scrubber and buffer and maintains such equipment. * Cleans stairwells, cleans corridors and elevators. * Cleans furniture. * Disposes of trash, biomedical and solid waste materials to appropriate disposal areas. * Moves furniture and equipment as requested. * Alerts supervisor of potential problems and safety hazards. * Performs other related duties as required and directed. #LI-WE1 Required: Preferred: * High school diploma or GED. * One-year of floor care maintenance experience. * One-year experience in housekeeping or janitorial services Additional Information * Schedule: Full-time * Requisition ID: 25005400 * Daily Work Times: 4:00 pm - 12:30 am * Hours Per Pay Period: 80 * On Call: No * Weekends: Yes
