The actual posting represents a position at one of our clients.Job SummaryOur client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant with a strong background in podiatry to join their growing team. This role will primarily support one main physician, with opportunities to assist other physicians as needed. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in toenail care, wound care, and assisting with simple podiatric procedures.Key Responsibilities Float between providers as needed, primarily supporting one main physician. Provide clinical support during patient visits and minor procedures. Perform podiatric care tasks, including routine toenail care and wound care. Assist with simple in-office procedures. Prepare and clean exam rooms before and after patient visits. Accurately document patient information and assist with EMR updates (ECW experience a plus). Greet and prepare patients by taking vitals and updating medical histories. Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment. Occasionally travel to additional clinic locations for half-day shifts as scheduled. Collaborate with fellow medical assistants and office staff to maintain smooth clinic operations. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all clinical protocols and safety guidelines.Skills Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly ECW, is a plus. Strong communication and teamwork skills.Additional Requirements Occasional travel to additional clinic locations for half-day shifts as scheduled.Benefits Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).
