SCS Inventory Specialist

Responsibilities * Issue parts and supplies upon request to site personnel * Use computer-based inventory systems (e.g., SAP) to issue parts and update bin locations * Receive incoming shipments and accurately verify contents against packing slips or purchase orders * Stock parts in designated inventory locations with attention to accuracy and organization * Maintain inventory accuracy through routine cycle counts and variance research * Routinely stock point-of-use consumable area parts * Follow all company and site-specific safety protocols * Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free * Perform additional duties as assigned by the Site Manager Qualifications * 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution setting * 3+ years of sit-down forklift operation experience * Knowledge of MRO, maintenance, and industrial parts preferred * Strong customer service skills with a commitment to professionalism and responsiveness * Computer-savvy; proficient in inventory systems and general computer applications * Demonstrated ability to follow proper email etiquette and written communication standards * Experience with SAP or similar inventory software is a plus * Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams * High school diploma or GED required Additional Information * Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs * Work Environment: Industrial setting with potential exposure to heat, dust, moderate noise, and outdoor elements * Shift Hours: Evening shift * Certifications: Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain * Overtime: May be required depending on business needs DXP is always looking for individuals who want to join a team of employees who have the desire to achieve remarkable accomplishments together.
