Accounting Manager

Century Group is in search of an experienced Accounting Manager to join a team in Western Colorado. Near Aspen/Vail/Dunn Valley. Qualified candidates with 4+ years of accounting experience are encouraged to apply. Local candidates only. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $86,000 to $110,000 per year. Hybrid Position.Job Description: Prepare monthly financial statements for review by CFO and management team Conduct thorough reviews and audits of financial statements Reconcile monthly statements to ensure accuracy Develop budgets and forecasts in collaboration with the finance team Handle payroll processing, leveraging Vantagepoint and reconcile payroll data with financial records Full cycle month-end close Back up for daily functions (AP/AR/Billing) and managing team of 2 Capability to streamline ERP systems and implement new systems/processes, have Requirements: Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred) Experience streamlining ERP systems, specifically Vantagepoint (preferred) Strong skills in Microsoft Excel Experience with payroll processing and filing Adaptability to new software tools Ability to communicate effectively, problem solver, go getter Century Group is an award-winning recruiting and staffing firm that provides top-tier accounting and finance talent to start-up, mid-market and Global 1000 enterprises on a direct hire, temporary and temp-to-hire basis.
