Please note that this role involves working with children and some Executive Personal Assistant work. Job Description The Assistant to the Director of Special Projects provides high level support to the Director of Special Projects. This includes conducting research, preparing reports, running errands, calendar and travel management, maintaining confidentiality in dealing with sensitive communications, and acting as liaison to other team members on behalf of the Director of Special Projects. The individual will be responsible for monitoring multiple projects and schedules while completing a high volume of tasks with limited guidance. In addition to the Assistant duties, this role will have caregiver responsibilities as well for the Director of Special Projects six-year-old son. Direct Reports: None Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree 5+ years of proven experience working with children High-Level business professional appearance and professionalism at all times Ability to organize and manage a large amount of research, data, files, tasks, schedules, and information according to director’s needs Friendly, positive relationship builder with a high sense of personal motivation Highly intelligent with strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proactive mentality with positive attitude and consistent follow-through Ability to problem solve and complete tasks with little or no supervision Comfortable meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment with multiple tasks and projects Flexibility in schedule, may not be typical 8-5 hours. Excellent written and verbal communications skills Willingness to support with other tasks as needed Responsibilities/Tasks: The Assistant to the Director of Special Projects will be expected to follow-through consistently in all efforts. Other daily, weekly, and/or monthly tasks may include: In addition to the Assistant duties, this role will have caregiver responsibilities as well for the Director of Special Projects six-year-old son Manage the Director’s schedule and anticipate organizational and administrative needs Prepare reports, presentations and data as well as maintaining files, records, and correspondence for meetings. Conduct research on behalf of the Director of Special Projects Organize, handle and structure their day to make sure tasks and expectations are not missed. Arrange travel, accommodations, itineraries, and all related correspondence with ability to travel when needed. Given the nature of the position, working at the executive level, confidentiality is required. Willingness to handle any and all tasks assigned as needed. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $90,000-$95,000 per year
