Tax Senior Manager - HybridLocation: Cleveland, OH, USA or Northeast OH, Akron, OH, Wooster, OHSalary: $120K-$200K (salary depends on experience) Client is willing to cover relocation expenses and is also flexible on in office policy!Position OverviewThe Tax Senior Manager will lead and manage a team of tax professionals, providing expert guidance on tax strategies, compliance, and planning for our diverse clientele, particularly in the realms of partnership and real estate tax. This role is essential in ensuring that our clients meet their tax obligations while maximizing their financial outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage all aspects of tax compliance and reporting for partnership and real estate clients.Develop and implement effective tax strategies that align with client objectives and regulatory requirements.Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing training and support to foster professional development.Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring the firms practices are compliant and clients are informed.Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and provide tax planning advice.Prepare and review complex tax returns and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.Conduct research on various tax issues and provide insightful recommendations to clients.Build and maintain strong client relationships to facilitate business development opportunities.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree or LLM in Taxation is a plus.CPA certification is required; EA certification is a plus.Minimum of 5+ years of experience in tax compliance and consulting, with a focus on partnership and real estate taxation.Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, including property tax laws and valuation.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Demonstrated experience in mentoring and developing junior staff.Previous experience in public accounting or with high net worth individuals is preferred.BenefitsFull Benefits Included
