We pride ourselves on attention to detail and the ability of our valued cleaners. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a night shift position consisting of Full-time hours - non-exempt. Shift: Mon- Fri - 40 hrs. per week JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES As a Floor Technician you will perform flooring projects in various buildings. Duties consist of: Floor Work * Floor buffing and waxing * Carpet cleaning * Tile and grout scrubbing Project Work * Window washing * High dusting/vent cleaning * Floor machine maintenance and cleaning * Commercial cleaning fill-in * Delivering supplies to buildings MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Knowledge * Experience operating floor equipment. Experience cleaning carpets, stripping and waxing floors, and buffing. * Some knowledge of janitorial safety procedures & compliance of all regulations regarding chemical storage and handling. Skills * Reliable and hard working. * Independence. Willingness to complete tasks and go the extra mile without being directed. * Communication skills. * Efficiency and time management Education * High School Diploma w/ 2-5 years experience in floor work. Licenses & Requirements * Valid Driver's License * Valid Auto Insurance - no more than 2 motor vehicle violations in the past 3 years Physical Demands * Walking, standing, bending over, kneeling * Work in both office and commercial environments (PPE use required in some locations). * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
