Senior Manager of Accounting

Our leading client in consumer product industry is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager. You will oversee a range of accounting activities, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate policies, and external audits. The ideal candidate demonstrates leadership, possesses a strong operational and technical accounting background, and proactively drives results. Expected starting base salary $100,000 to $150,000 per year. Job Description: Manage the monthly financial close process, including accurate recording of costs, reviewing journal entries, reconciling account balances, and preparing reports. Contribute to the development and establishment of accounting policies, procedures, and operational strategies, including process and system enhancements. Collaborate with external auditors to achieve successful audit outcomes. Engage with stakeholders at all levels to produce timely, accurate month-end and internal management reports. Prepare detailed journal entries and account analyses. Summarize financial statement variances relative to budget. Actively review and advise on financial and accounting processes. Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Requirements: In-depth understanding of US GAAP. Experience working in a multinational corporation. Proficiency in general ledger functions. Ability to execute deadline-driven processes in a dynamic environment. Experience: 8+ years of experience in the apparel, e-commerce, or related industry (public/private).
