Job Description

Specific Job Functions: * Maintain records including repairs needed, lost and found items, and quality of work completed by employees * Inspect rooms to ensure they are up to property standards * Ensure Guest Room Attendants (GRAs) are conforming to the health laws and standards set by the property * Work closely with the Front Desk to ensure guests receive clean rooms in a timely manner * Work with Engineering to ensure maintenance concerns are handled appropriately * Work with scheduling to ensure proper staffing levels * Manage assigned operational functions consistent with the strategic plan and vision for the department, division and property * Manage and monitor fiscal budget and marketing strategies to produce both short-term and long-term profitability for the property * Manage the delivery and measurement of guest service consistent with the properties core service standards and brand attributes * Provide input into research, development, evaluation, and implementation of new products, services, technology, and processes to ensure property's competitive position and in anticipation of changing customer needs * Manage Human Resources responsibilities including creating a work environment which promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training and succession planning processes that encompass the Company's diversity commitment; compliance with Company policies, legal requirements and collective bargaining agreements * Coordinate turn-down services and other special requests made by VIP Services and VIP guests * Control expenses by voluntary staff reductions when necessary * Instruct employees and new hires on the products used for cleaning in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) chemical Right to Know standards * Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department Responsibilities/Qualifications * At least two years Housekeeping Supervisory experience required * Previous experience with Collective Bargaining Agreements * Knowledge of cleaning procedures and OSHA regulations preferred * Excellent customer service skills are necessary * Must have a professional appearance and demeanor
