This role will oversee complex tax engagements, manage client relationships, and lead a team of talented professionals. The ideal candidate is proactive, client-focused, and skilled in delivering high-quality tax solutions in a collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities-Manage and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.-Oversee and mentor staff accountants and senior accountants, providing technical guidance and professional development.-Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering timely advice and solutions.-Identify tax planning opportunities and strategies to optimize client outcomes.-Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes.-Manage project timelines and budgets while ensuring quality standards are met.Qualifications-CPA license required-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's in Taxation preferred.-5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, including supervisory responsibilities.-Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax laws.-Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.-Proficiency with tax preparation and research software.
