Minimum Qualifications: * Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or porter roles is required. * Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. * Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies, including safe handling procedures. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards. * Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and residents. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working in a historic or heritage property setting. * Familiarity with environmentally friendly cleaning products and sustainable practices. * Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning and maintenance. * Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor polishers or carpet cleaners. * Multilingual abilities to assist a diverse resident and visitor population. Responsibilities: * Perform thorough cleaning of common areas such as lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and restrooms to maintain a hygienic and attractive environment. * Manage waste collection and disposal in accordance with property guidelines and local regulations. * Assist with porter duties including moving furniture, delivering packages, and supporting event setup or breakdown as required. * Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the property management team promptly. * Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored properly after each shift.
