Hosts serve as representatives for Volo and its subsidiaries at facilities and bars and are the main point of contact for our players in leagues. This is a part time position, however, there are opportunities for advancement within the company.If you're ready to embark on a career that will impact your life and your community while having lots of fun in the process, keep scrolling ... League Host responsibilities include, but not limited to:Serve as a Volo representative at facilities and barsUpdate league scores in our host appPromote events and upcoming leagues via social media and on-field sellingHelp distribute marketing materialsEncourage and maintain a quality experience throughout the leagueMust be available at least 1 day per week from 5:30pm-10:30pm for at least eight weeksOther league-day preparations, such as field setup and supervisionSet up & take down fields and /or Bar set up Use host app to check in players as needed Execute fundraising activities to support kids programs Make players meet & feel welcomeBuild relationship with bartendersReferee responsibilities:Ensure a safe, fun, social and fair environment for all playersUnderstand and kindly and fairly enforce each sport's rulesCommunicate with the office regarding any equipment, rule issues, player issues, etc.QualificationsInterest in sports and social activitiesStrong attention to detailExcellent written and oral communication skillsWorks well in a team atmosphereAbility to multi-task and make decisions under pressureAbility to lift and carry 30-50 poundsPossess a positive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate clearlyMust be available to work evenings and/or weekendsProficient customer service skillsHigh School Diploma /GED Equivalency "WOW" Us With ...Passion for sports and social activitiesOutgoing and ready to handle anything presentedPunctual and professional, but embraces a "work hard, play hard" attitudeAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Volo is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer that proudly pursues and hires a diverse workforce.
