Senior Staff Accountant / Junior Controller

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90,000 to $110,000 per year. Job Responsibilities: Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP for internal and external stakeholdersManage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including reconciliations and reportingSupervise accounts payable and receivable functions, including oversight of two team membersConduct regular audits of financial records to identify discrepancies and ensure complianceSupport budgeting and forecasting efforts while advising on tax-related matters Requirements: A minimum of 2+ years in a senior accounting role such as Accounting Manager or Assistant ControllerAt least 2+ years of hands-on experience using Odoo ERPProficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Microsoft Office applicationsBackground in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment, including COGS tracking Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline; CPA or MBA is a plus but not requiredA strong understanding of GAAP and both financial and cost accounting principlesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for cross-functional collaborationDemonstrated leadership during organizational transitions, promoting accountability and teamworkBilingual in English and Spanish is beneficial; familiarity with mechanical engineering is a bonus REF #51114 #LI-DD1
