Sr. Microsoft Power BI DeveloperLocation: 100% Remote from HomeLinTech Global Inc. is recruiting for a Sr. Power BI Developer to support our USPSOIG contract in Arlington, Virginia.OverviewPrimary focus on business intelligence and reporting technologies/methodologiesIdentify data to clean, transform, and load into data modelsCreate data models, establish relationship cardinality and cross-filter direction, and build complex measuresVisualize data models by creating reports and dashboardsAssist in the delivery of quality solutions using Microsoft Business Intelligence tools (Power BI) and related technologiesPartner with OIG customers and OCIO technical team members to assist with requirements definitions, solution designs, technical architecture, and deliveryWork collaboratively with team members including project managers, solution architects, and business analystsResponsibilitiesImplement solutions using Microsoft Power BI tool suite and related technologiesProficient in developing complex Data Analytics Expressions (DAX) and M (Power) QueriesExperience with developing interactive dashboards - parameters, actions, navigation - for ease-of-useProficient in creating dataflows or datamartsExperience with designing composite modelsExperience with report builder and developing paginated reportsExperience with applying roles and Row Level Security (RLS) to Reports, Apps and workspacesExperience integrating customized automated solutions using PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint and Dataverse with Power BIUnderstand the administrative functions for Power BI, managing data gateway, usage reports, etc.Leverage database systems including data warehouses, data marts, and models needed for business, financial, and operational analysis and/or reportingDevelop high performing, reliable, and scalable solutionsOptimize performance on new and existing data models; clearly communicate technical details to business and management staffPerform data analysis which supports and enhances OIG information management systems and servicesExperience with one or more data technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Data Warehouse, SQL Server, etc.) and a willingness to learn how to leverage these technologies to improve business intelligenceAuthor and oversee design documents for approved projectsDevelop, publish and schedule reports, dashboards & scorecards, data exploration, and visual analytics using existing and emerging technologies and toolsProvide meaningful feedback and coaching of other team members in the use of Microsoft Power BI and related technologiesProvide insight and recommendations on new and emerging technologies and concepts to OCIO team membersEager to contribute to a team-oriented environmentAble to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience8+ years of progressive experience in business intelligence and/or information management4+ years of experience with data visualization and implementing high-value solutions; experience performing administrative activities across multi-environment infrastructures5+ years of experience working in a client-facing technical roleExpert knowledge of data management, business intelligence and analytics concepts including:Extract, transform, load (ETL)Data warehousing, data marts, data stores, and cubesData quality and profilingData governance, data management, and metadata managementData visualization, dashboard design / implementation, reporting, self-service BI, data KPIs, and scorecardsPredictive, prescriptive, and descriptive analyticsProficiency in one or more languages like SQL, SAS, R, PythonDesired ExperienceExperience with Government software development policies and proceduresDegrees / CertificationsDegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field OR possess a PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Certification or equivalentCompany DescriptionLinTech Global is an award-winning, ISO 9001:2008 certified, business and GSA contract holder providing diversified Information Technology services to both Civilian and Defense agencies.
