Overview AI Data Architect position for a remote work environment. The role supports data-driven initiatives within the public sector, with a focus on AI technologies, data architecture, risk management, data security, ethics, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to identify, assess, and implement AI-powered solutions. This position involves four key activities within the state of Colorado: performing risk and impact assessments for potential AI projects, executing technical solutioning and consultation for AI projects, assisting with use case trend analysis and roadmapping, and supporting the development of processes around the use of AI. Job Details Job ID: 11389461 Job Title: AI Data Architect Location: Remote – Colorado preferred (reside in Colorado) Duration: 12 Months Client: State of CO - OIT Client/Employer: Paramount Software Solutions, Inc Key Responsibilities Use Case Identification & Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of potential AI use cases, considering feasibility, impact, and risks. Solution Review & Architecture: Evaluate the technical soundness of AI project proposals, focusing on architecture, security, privacy, data quality, model performance, and scalability; advise on design to support AI/ML workloads with compliant data architectures. Risk Management & Mitigation: Assess potential impact of AI projects and identify/mitigate risks including data privacy, algorithmic bias, and misuse concerns. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (agency and OIT) to provide guidance on technical and ethical considerations and help strengthen procedures for operationalizing AI. Technology Evaluation & Selection: Stay updated on AI technologies and trends; evaluate suitability for use cases and recommend solutions. Documentation: Prepare clear technical reports summarizing project reviews and surface opportunities for future use. Required Skills and Experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to translate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences on cross-functional teams. Technical background in AI/ML, including experience with tools/models (e.g., Google Vertex, AWS Kendra, Snowflake Cortex, AWS SageMaker, Google AI Studio); cloud computing (AWS, Google Cloud Platform); big data technologies (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery); and data architecture principles. Experience with AI and data architecture and management. Knowledge of responsible AI principles and ethical considerations. Senior analytical and problem-solving skills.
