Data Architect

OverviewClient is seeking an experienced Data Architect to support an Oracle EPM upgrade from on-prem to the cloud. The role will focus on integrations of the EPM platform with other modules such as SuccessFactors, Core SAP and Oracle. The candidate should have experience with data governance in a global finance system and understand analytics.ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain enterprise data models for financial systems.Develop data integration strategies for core financial systems (e.g., Oracle Hyperion, Planisware PPM, SAP DRC, Vertex).Provide technical guidance related to data architecture, data models and metadata management to senior IT and business leaders.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with business needs (e.g., Finance, R&D, HR, Clinical).Implement data governance frameworks to ensure data integrity, traceability, and audit readiness.Optimize data pipelines for real-time analytics and reporting across operational and financial domains.Support data migration and harmonization during acquisitions or system consolidations.Ensure compliance with FDA, HIPAA, and SOX regulations in all data solutions.Extract relevant data to solve analytical problems; ensure development teams have the required data.Work closely with database teams on topics related to data requirements, cleanliness, and accuracy.Work directly with Product Managers and customers to deliver data products in a collaborative and agile environment.QualificationsData Architect with 10+ years of architecture/integration experience.SAP or Oracle Financial Experience - Oracle Hyperion preferred.Global experience.Strong knowledge of financial systems (ERP, GL, AP/AR) and data integration with clinical/operational systems.Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes, API integrations, and data security standards.Understanding of regulatory compliance: HIPAA, SOX.Plus: experience with Medical Device platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).Experience with data modeling tools (ER/Studio, ERwin).Exposure to financial reporting and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau).Exposure to data quality and master data management (MDM) practices.Location and CompensationCambridge, MATypical range: $148,125.00 - $213,958.33 #J-18808-Ljbffr
