OPEN UNTIL FILLEDHelp our team create success in fostering strong connections with partners inside and outside of the Information Technology Department, ensuring an exceptional customer service experience for all stakeholders. The current vacancy resides in the Strategic Planning and Digital communications division. The successful candidate will have a background in management and support of various applications, experience with open data platforms, and capable of managing complex IT systems. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining Open Data platforms, data analysis, application support and administration, and collaborating with various departments to ensure successful project outcomes. Additionally, the candidate will be involved in planning and selecting appropriate technologies, creating system architecture diagrams, and overseeing the integration of various components. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with stakeholders and team members. The normal work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.; a flex schedule may be available. Candidates may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule with supervisor approval and must be able to report to the City of Roseville worksites when required. The current opening is a regular, benefitted, and full-time position but the list may be utilized to fill future regular, temporary, or limited-term vacancies in the City for the duration of the list. Minimum QualificationsExperience and TrainingExperience: Two years of responsible experience performing duties similar to that of a Business Systems Analyst II, Database Analyst II or Information Technology Analyst II with the City of Roseville.Training: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably with major course work in computer science, information systems, business management, business information systems, or a related field.License or Certificate: Possession of a valid California driver’s license by date of appointment. The City defines accredited colleges or universities as institutions listed on the United States Department of Education Database of Accredited Post-Secondary Institutions and Programs. Credits earned from accredited institutions will be considered as part of the educational component of the minimum qualifications. For degrees from countries outside the United States, a foreign credential evaluation may be obtained from approved agencies. Verification may be required as part of the pre-employment steps. Selection Process: All candidates meeting the minimum qualifications will have their application scored in a Formula Rate Examination. Final appointment is contingent upon reference checks and various pre-employment screenings. Some positions may require a Police Department background check; if PD clearance is not obtained, the offer may be withdrawn in accordance with Personnel Rules.
