Discover a career in banking at Fifth Third Bank.GENERAL FUNCTION:Provide leadership in the pitching and execution of M&A and Strategic Advisory engagements while supporting the IB's Sr. Managing Director in managing the team's Associates and Analysts. Ensure proper resource allocation and focus on high-priority projects. Play a key role in developing the group's modeling and analytical capabilities, creating high-quality analysis and materials, and leading the creation of pitch materials, financial models, CIM, and client communication.Risk Management:Responsible for risk by following policies, raising concerns, and ensuring actions drive positive customer experiences. Operate within the Bank's risk appetite, identifying, assessing, and managing risks effectively.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Evaluate complex financial models and perform financial analysis.Create impactful presentation materials using PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.Collaborate effectively in a high-stress environment.Build relationships within Capital Markets and across the organization.Manage multiple high-priority opportunities simultaneously.Apply credit and corporate finance knowledge to IB projects.Support Managing Directors and represent IB in teract independently with key stakeholders during M&A or Strategic Advisory projects.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervise daily activities of IB Associates and Analysts, provide performance feedback, develop talent, and recognize achievements.MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:7-10 years of experience in Banking, Investment Banking, or Capital Markets.Strong corporate finance and credit skills.Proven success in originating and closing complex financial transactions.Excellent presentation and relationship-building skills.Effective interaction with senior dustry expertise.BA/BS in Finance/Accounting/Economics; MBA preferred.Securities licenses: Series 79 and Series PENSATION AND BENEFITS:Includes a competitive salary, incentive plan, comprehensive benefits covering health, dental, vision, 401(k), employee stock purchase plan, paid time off, and wellness programs.
