Chief Credit Officer – Community BankWe’re seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Credit Officer (CCO) to lead the credit risk function for a growing, well-capitalized community bank. This senior executive will oversee the bank’s credit policy, underwriting standards, loan portfolio quality, and credit administration teams, playing a key role in guiding growth while maintaining sound risk management practices.This position requires relocation to a beaufitul coastal city along the Gulf of Mexico in Texas. The bank will help with relocation expenses.Key Responsibilities:Set and enforce credit policy, risk appetite, and portfolio strategies in alignment with the bank’s strategic objectivesOversee all aspects of credit underwriting, loan approval processes, and portfolio monitoring across commercial, CRE, C&I, and consumer segmentsLead and mentor a team of credit professionals and credit analystsChair or participate in senior credit committees and ensure timely, risk-aligned decision-makingMonitor asset quality, identify emerging credit risks, and implement proactive portfolio managementEnsure compliance with all regulatory requirements and support internal/external audits and examinationsPartner with senior leadership on strategic initiatives including loan growth, M&A, or new product developmentQualifications:15+ years of progressive credit and lending experience, including leadership roles within commercial bankingProven ability to manage diverse loan portfolios and credit teamsDeep understanding of regulatory compliance, risk ratings, and credit policyStrong communication, analytical, and decision-making skillsBachelor’s degree in finance or related field required; MBA or graduate banking education preferredWhy Join Us?Stable, growth-oriented bank with a strong balance sheet and supportive leadershipCompetitive compensation and executive benefitsOpportunity to shape the credit culture and have a meaningful impact on the institution’s long-term successFor more information, contact 346-291-2820 #J-18808-Ljbffr
