OverviewSenior Associate, Private Equity & Credit Valuations at S&P Global Market Intelligence. The team provides post-trade valuation services for illiquid private market investments across debt and equity when active market quotations are not available.Responsibilities & ImpactPerform valuations on a wide range of illiquid investments across industries and geographies using accepted and relevant approaches and theory.Present analyses and conclusions including written reports, and handle valuation queries from clients.Contribute to the design and enhancement of the financial models used to perform valuations.Work with management to build and maintain client relationships.Use AI tools to gather and clean financial, market, and operational data from various structured and unstructured sources (e.g., filings, news, databases), improving efficiency and accuracy in valuation corporate machine learning to identify patterns in historical valuation data, improve forecast accuracy, and support scenario analysis for complex or illiquid investments.Leverage Natural Language Processing to extract key insights from investment memos, pitch books, earnings calls, and regulatory filings to support valuation assumptions.What We’re Looking ForBasic Qualifications:Qualified accountant or CFA charterholder (or in process of obtaining qualification).Solid experience constructing and reviewing valuation models and other financial models including DCF, comparable company/bond, and other intangible asset models.Experience delivering valuations and responding to price challenges.Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Good knowledge of multiple industry sectors (e.g., Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals, Food & Drug Retailing, Healthcare Providers & Services, or Software & IT Services).Experience building and maintaining client relationships.Ability to prioritize tasks to deliver valuations.Ability to coordinate with internal teams across functions.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; strong verbal and written communication skills; strong team player.Note: This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.BenefitsHealth & Wellness: Health care coverage designed for the mind and body.Flexible Downtime: Generous time off to stay energized.Continuous Learning: Resources to grow your career and learn new vest in Your Future: Competitive pay, retirement planning, continuing education, and company-matched student loan contribution.Family Friendly Perks: Benefits for partners and children.Beyond the Basics: Various additional perks and discounts.Equal Opportunity EmployerS&P Global is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment without regard to race/ethnicity, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, marital status, military veteran status, unemployment status, or any other status protected by law.
