Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$60,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yrAbout the RoleWe’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join a collaborative finance team within a dynamic consumer products organization. This role will be responsible for a wide range of accounting operations and process improvements, offering exposure to multiple aspects of the business and the opportunity to make an immediate impact.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle the full scope of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy across billing, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and financial reporting.Reconcile vendor statements, monitor aging reports, and act as the primary contact for wholesale partners to resolve discrepancies and enhance collections.Oversee weekly AP/AR workflows, ensuring transactions are processed on time and reports remain current and accurate.Validate, reconcile, and track trade spend expenses and chargebacks, ensuring they’re correctly reflected in financial statements.Manage bank remittances and cash applications, ensuring timely allocation and proper reconciliation of all funds.Prepare and record monthly journal entries and maintain precise backup schedules for payables and receivables.Support external audits by providing requested documentation and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.Collaborate on process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and minimize manual work.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in consumer goods, wholesale, or manufacturing.Strong knowledge of GAAP and understanding of AP/AR workflows.Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionAccounting/AuditingIndustriesFood and Beverage Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
