Onyx offers a competitive total compensation package and an international, fast-paced environment with strong learning opportunities.Location: USScope: North AmericaThis position is remote.Overview — Sales DirectorThe Sales Director will play a critical role in driving Onyx’s revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and securing new business opportunities in the US. You will respond to inbound inquiries, proactively develop new sales prospects, and follow up on leads generated by the pre-sales team to close deals. You will design and execute strategic sales plans to exceed revenue targets, ensure smooth client transitions into service delivery, manage the full sales cycle, track opportunities in Salesforce, and report on key operational KPIs. The role requires strong negotiation skills, a results-driven mindset, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships that contribute to Onyx’s long-term growth.ResponsibilitiesRespond to sales inquiries from potential customers seeking Onyx’s servicesIndividually initiate new sales prospects, qualify leads, and solicit potential customersFollow up leads processed through the SDR (pre-sales team) and effectively close the dealsDevelop sales plans and strategies to meet and exceed established revenue goalsPartner with operations to ensure optimal transition to full service deliveryProvide detailed tracking and status information for each sales opportunity in CRM (Salesforce) and other management reportsSuccessfully negotiate deals in a timely manner that advance Onyx’s growthAdhere to operational KPI’s (Calls, Sets, Activities, and Tasks)Qualifications3-5 years sales experience, preferably in the travel industryProven track record in effective and consistent sales resultsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to translate customer needs into sales opportunities for the companyExperience managing and negotiating deals with complex structuresProficient in creating customer and internal documentation in PowerPoint, Excel, and WordWilling and able to travel in assigned market and attend conferences/trade showsCompetenciesAbility to manage and prioritize tasks for maximum productivityRelationship ManagementAdvocacy for the customer to internal stakeholders and Onyx to the clientOrganizational InterlocksThis position will work closely with internal stakeholders.Physical Demands / TravelWork is sedentary and performed indoors at a desk (remote or office).
