Within these segments, the teams sell across multiple verticals and there are teams that sell into a single industry or vertical. You may be aligned to the following verticals and clouds: Financial Services, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Retail & Consumer Goods, Communications & Media & Technology, Consumer Business Services. Core Teams sell the entire Salesforce Platform and Co Prime teams specialize in specific cloud solutions (including but not limited to Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Heroku or Quip). SMB Business Unit Small Business (SB) and Growth Business (GRB) units cover customers with 1–45 and 46–200 employees respectively. Day to day, you will: Sell the entire Customer 360 Platform, or a specific cloud, across Salesforce customers and/or new logos. Have a deep understanding of how businesses operate and the priorities that drive decisions at the C-level. Create demand by uncovering business problems and mapping them to our solutions. Uncover business initiatives and pain points to map solutions across multiple lines of business. Build credibility and trust while influencing buying decisions. Sell on value and ROI rather than just technical functionality. Generate pipeline that leads to closed revenue and quota attainment. Qualifications Average of 2–5 years of full-cycle sales experience, with at least 1 year in the field and a proven track record of success. Experience managing and growing existing and/or net new logo accounts. Experience selling to the C-suite. Ability to craft a point of view and build credibility as a “Trusted Adviser” with customers. Experience building a business case and delivering return on investment. Ability to build and deliver presentations to customers. Ability to strategize with a large extended internal team. Experience evaluated based on core competencies for the role (e.g., extracurricular leadership, military, volunteer, work experience).
