Key Account Managers at Sika will play a key role in driving profitable sales growth by promoting and selling Sika technologies. Experience within the electronics industry or knowledge of adhesives and sealants is required. Demonstrated experience or familiarity with Chinese cultural norms, traditions, and business etiquette.At Sika, the Key Account Manager will achieve assigned sales target, maintain a “Sales Force” customer database in addition to :Leading technical solution developmentExecuting strategic Initiatives aligned with business goalsIdentifying new business opportunitiesIncorporating core competencies including problem solving, consultative selling, etc.Utilize Process Analysis to learn customer needs and to identify opportunitiesPrepare and present formal and informal presentations and seminars supporting the customer’s requirementsQualifications / ExperienceProficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) language, both written and spokenDemonstrated experience or familiarity with Chinese cultural norms, traditions, and business etiquettePrior work, study, or residency in a Chinese-speaking region is a plusAbility to engage with Chinese-speaking clients, partners, or stakeholders effectivelyBachelor’s degree or equivalent required, preferably in business or engineering fieldMinimum five years of progressively responsible sales experience with a proven track recordMust have proven record of creativity, innovation, sales growth, and significant achievementFamiliarity with adhesives and sealants is preferredExcellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, as well as oral and written communication, analytical, planning, time management, and quantitative skillsExperience within the electronics industry or knowledge of adhesives and sealantsJob ResponsibilitiesAccount Management & Business Development - Build and maintain strong relationshipsCoordinate product trials, technical validation, and implementation processes with application engineering and R&DWork with functional support personnel to bring solutions to customer needsPrepare and present formal and informal presentations and seminars supporting the customer’s requirementsAchieve assigned sales and distribution goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basisPrepare and submit business plans and reports to communicate projects, activities, and resource requirementsIdentify and communicate market segments, product ideas, and product technologiesIncorporate core competencies including problem-solving, elastic bonding, and consultative sellingForecast monthly sales for each account within Corporate guidelinesMaintain an accurate CRM “SalesForce” customer databaseSubmit timely reports detailing activities, trends, competitive analysis, etc.Perks & Benefits401K with generous company matchBonusesMedical, Dental, and Vision BenefitsPaid Parental LeaveLife InsuranceDisability InsurancePaid Time Off, Paid HolidaysFloating Holidays + Paid Volunteer TimeWellness / Fitness ReimbursementsEducation AssistanceProfessional Development OpportunitiesEmployee Referral Program & More!Sika fosters a culture of entrepreneurship, empowering each individual to make decisions.
