OverviewOracle Cloud ERP Functional Specialist - A2R (Fixed Assets) – Short Description Complete Description: Duties and Responsibilities for a senior Business System Analyst role focused on Oracle Cloud ERP (Acquire to Retire) with emphasis on Fixed Assets. 12+ years of experience required. Responsibilities The Contractor shall provide business system analyst services, including problem solving, business architecture, process optimization, business rules, business cases, business requirements, organizational change (communications), and UAT. Formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements. Understand and document current business procedures and identify areas for improvement. Provide hands-on business process requirements analysis in support of Oracle Cloud ERP and related applications. Plan, design, and implement financial systems solutions in collaboration with internal departments and external resources. Assess the current state of the organization before recommending changes related to implementing a new business solution. Under general supervision, formulate and define system scope and objectives through research. Transfer knowledge of business requirements to the application developers. Make cogent arguments to recommend a course of action and analyze large volumes of information to identify salient points. Detect and address changing business patterns to provide competitive advantages in business processes. Translate client staff augmentation requirements into IT requirements and functional design specifications using standard methods. Build trust between Business and IT teams and assist in identifying and implementing various software solutions. Provide application support for business users and write conversion, interface, reports, and extension functional design specifications. Support data cleanup, data conversion, reconciliation, and month-end/year-end activities within the Acquire to Retire process area. Review design specifications and provide feedback; write white papers and solution recommendations as needed. Support testing and conduct training as required. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering system capacity, operation time, and desired results. Education Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business, Accounting or related field. Equivalent combination of education and successful work experience (10 years). CPA Certification is preferred. Qualifications 12+ years of Business Analyst experience (Required). 12+ years of Software Development Lifecycle experience (Required). 12+ years of requirements gathering and documentation experience (Required). 12+ years of Microsoft Excel/Word/Visio/PowerPoint experience (Required). 12+ years of Oracle Financials EBS/Cloud Suite experience (Required). 12+ years of experience as an Oracle Functional SME in Acquire to Retire process area (Required). 8+ years of experience with month-end and year-end closing and reconciliation in Acquire to Retire Process Area (Required). Demonstrable expertise within Oracle Cloud ERP suite, specifically Oracle Fixed Assets; understanding of Oracle Payables and/or Project modules. 8+ years of experience providing production support for Oracle EBS/Cloud applications. 8+ years of experience with Oracle ERP Cloud Acquire to Retire process area (Required). Public sector implementations experience is highly desirable. Skills Business Analysis experience (12+ years). Software Development Lifecycle experience (12+ years). Requirements gathering and documentation experience (12+ years). MS Visio/Word/Excel/PowerPoint experience (12+ years). Oracle Financials EBS/Cloud Suite experience (12+ years). Oracle Functional SME in Acquire to Retire process area (12+ years). Experience with month-end and year-end closing and reconciliation in Acquire to Retire (8+ years). Production support experience for Oracle EBS/Cloud applications (8+ years). Experience implementing Oracle ERP Cloud Acquire to Retire process area (8+ years). Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP, especially Purchasing and Payables modules. Bachelor’s degree in IT/Finance/Business/Accounting or related field, or 10+ years of education and experience. Specific expertise in Oracle Fixed Assets with understanding of Payables/Projects modules. Public sector implementations experience is highly desirable. CPA certification is highly desired.
