As a **Maintenance Technician** , you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of building systems and equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a dynamic environment and is eager to grow their skills alongside experienced tradespeople. + **Innovative Environment** - Work in a state-of-the-art facility combining labs and office spaces + **Free On-Site Parking** - Easy and convenient access to your workplace + **On-Site Dining** - Enjoy meals without leaving the campus + **Stable Day Shift** - Consistent Monday-Friday schedule (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) + **Growth Opportunities** - Learn and develop alongside a team of skilled professionals **What You'll Do:** + Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, HVAC and other building systems including + Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs: including Carpentry, Paint & Patch duties. + Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems: + Operate forklift and scissor lift + Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion. + Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently. + Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations. + Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner. + Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail. + Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance. **What You'll Need:** + High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. + Must possess a valid driver license + Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. + Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. + Communication skills to exchange straightforward information. + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. The minimum salary for the position is or $28.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the position is $38.00 per hour.
