Performs thermal cutting and grinding, repairing broken or cracked parts, filling holes, increasing the size of metal parts.Position Responsibilities: Must be able to utilize both MIG and TIG Order and receive parts and supplies as needed Adheres to all established safety (OSHA) and environmental policies and standards to include identification, use, and proper procedures for handling or disposal of hazardous wastes Clean, organize and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety Ability to wear a respirator Performs miscellaneous duties as assignedQualifications: Possess both welding and fitting skills Ability to operate an acetylene torch Read and comprehend measurements, and job sheets Worked in an industrial setting High school diploma or GED Welding Certificate is a plus, but not requiredLocation: Pasadena, TXDCI Benefits: Medical, dental and vision Insurance 401(k) with generous employer match Paid time off, including 10 paid holidays Optional health savings account & flexible spending account Life insurance Employee assistance program Parental leave Referral program Tuition reimbursement
