Construction Superintendent-Commercial Roofing

A leading commercial roofing contractor is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Superintendent to oversee on-site operations for a variety of roofing projects. This role is critical to ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion while maintaining strong communication with the Project Manager and field crews. Responsibilities: + Supervise subcontractors and field staff on commercial roofing projects + Ensure work is completed efficiently, accurately, and safely + Maintain consistent communication with the Project Manager + Address crew performance and resolve site-related issues + Enforce safety protocols, quality standards, and manufacturer guidelines + Conduct regular inspections and quality checks + Coordinate delivery and usage of materials, tools, and equipment + Manage job site inventory and minimize waste + Handle procurement and acceptance of material deliveries + Ensure daily availability of required materials on-site + Maintain detailed project records including logs, photos, and receipts + Provide daily updates and reports to the Project Manager + Interface professionally with clients to ensure satisfaction + Communicate client feedback and take appropriate action + Identify and resolve on-site challenges to keep projects on track + Continuously seek improvements in workflows and processes + Adapt to changing schedules and weather conditions + Participate in hands-on roofing installation and repairs when needed + Lead crews by example and provide ongoing education Qualifications: + 5+ years of hands-on experience in commercial roofing + Proven experience as a superintendent or foreman in the industry + Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and OSHA guidelines + Proficiency with roofing tools and equipment + Effective communication and interpersonal skills + Comfortable using iPhone, iPad, apps, and digital communication tools Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
