CGP: Staff Accountant

Fantastic opportunity with our client in Orange County! Fast paced and growing logistics industry company looking for their next Staff Accountant for either a temp to hire or direct hire opportunity. This role is onsite in Anaheim and vaccination is required. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $32 to $35 per hour. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accountsPrepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processesComplete Bank Reconciliations and review financial statements for accuracy and legal complianceManage Financial Statements for at least one entityPrepare payroll and analytics for Independent Contractor DriversManage claim related payments for our Health Benefit PlanMeet defined processing and reporting deadlinesRespond to information requests, review financial statements, and assist with external auditsAct as support and backup for Senior Accounting ManagerOther ad hoc project and duties as assigned EXPERIENCE: 2-5 years of Staff Accountant experience Excellent Excel - Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP's Bachelors in Accounting or Finance preferredREF 45390 #ZR#LI-POST
