Senior Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $95,000 to $105,000 per year. Job Responsibilities: Review property financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.Assist with month-end close procedures and journal entries.Reconcile cash payments, bank accounts, and other balance sheet accounts.Support accounting for property improvement projects and monthly consolidations.Participate in special projects and provide support for external audits. Requirements: Demonstrate strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles.Show ability to manage multiple tasks and meet month-end deadlines.Communicate effectively with internal teams and external auditors.Apply attention to detail when reviewing financial data and reconciliations.Utilize accounting software and Excel to perform daily accounting functions. Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.3+ years of experience in general ledger or public accounting.Understand real estate accounting practices; industry experience is a plus.Maintain knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.Exhibit a proactive and analytical mindset in problem-solving tasks.
