**Overview** **Job Summary Details:** The Floor Technician is responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of all floor surfaces in a facility, including hard floors and carpets. This role involves operating floor care equipment, performing routine and deep cleaning, and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for staff, clients, and visitors. **Benefit Information:** ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package. For information about ABM's benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members (| (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) **Basic Qualifications:** - Must be 18 years of age or older - No experience required and on the job training provided - No high school diploma, GED or college degree required **Preferred Qualifications:** - Customer service experience - 1 year of similar work experience **Responsibilities:** + Sweep, mop, scrub, strip, wax, and buff hard surface floors using industrial equipment. + Vacuum, shampoo, and extract carpets and rugs. + Operate and maintain floor care machines such as buffers, burnishers, auto scrubbers, and extractors. + Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). + Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor. + Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and storage areas. + Assist with general housekeeping duties as needed. + Follow facility policies and procedures, including infection control and sanitation standards. A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
