Title: Manager of Facilities and Warehouse - Manufacturing Location: Cleveland, OH (44128)Salary: $60,000-$70,000/Year + Bonus and Benefits Requirements: A5+ Years of Construction/Building Maintenance Experience as well as Warehouse Experience in Manufacturing. Knowledge of cGMP, ISO DOT, FDA and OSHA requirements would make you a STRONG fit for this role. If you are looking for a great place to learn, and expand your career - read on!What you Need:A 4-year engineering, facilities management, or construction-related degree is preferred.Commensurate work experience will be considered.Knowledge of cGMP, ISO, DOT, FDA, and OSHA requirements would be beneficial but not required.Hazardous shipping experience preferred.Certification/experience operating powered industrial equipment.Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and material handling.Familiarity with international shipping requirements.Highly capable of prioritizing, organizing, and delegating assignments.Strong verbal and written communication skills required.Strong interpersonal and management skills.Flexibility to deal with issues at the necessary level: functional or managerial.Must be highly organized, accurate, and detail-oriented.Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Basic knowledge of ERP systems (IQMS preferred).What you will be Doing:The Manager of Facilities and Warehouse oversees the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of the company's facilities and warehouse. This role ensures efficient inventory management, optimal space utilization, and safety and regulatory standards. The manager leads a warehouse, facility, and custodial staff team to support business operations and continuous improvement initiatives. Facilities Management: Oversee maintenance, repair, and improvement of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.).Coordinate with outside contractors and service vendors for preventative maintenance, repairs, renovations, and other facility-related services.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.Manage building security with the fire and security monitoring company and security contractor for access control systems.Oversee the cleanliness and stocking of custodial supplies to maintain the facility per company standards.Warehouse Management: Supervise warehouse staff and ensure efficient inventory management and order fulfillment.Implement best practices for inventory control, reducing discrepancies and optimizing storage.Ensure the warehouse complies with health and safety, OSHA, FDA, ISO, DOT, and all other regulatory and company policies.Oversee the receipt, storage, and shipment of raw materials, components, and finished goods per SOPs, DOT, IATA, and IMDG regulations.Maintain stock records and reconcile with the ERP system.Negotiate small parcel and freight contracts with carriers to ensure the lowest transportation charges.Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a cohesive warehouse and facilities team with technical and problem-solving skills to execute daily tasks efficiently.Conduct regular meetings and training sessions to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Budgeting and Reporting:Prepare and manage budgets for facilities, warehouse, and logistics operations.Track and analyze operational costs, identifying areas for cost reductionCollaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as supply chain, sales, manufacturing, and engineering, to ensure seamless integration of facilities and warehouse functions with overall company objectives.Accountable for approving and submitting the facility and warehouse employees' payroll hours and scheduled/unscheduled time off for both full-time and temporary workers.Coordinate new employee training.Monitor and review staff performance and organize necessary interventions for improvement.Comply with all company policies, practices, and procedures.Participate in internal and external audits as needed.Comply with all applicable regulations.Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to.Must be available to work nights and/or weekends for special projects or to maintain building and employee safety.Maintain UN drop testing certification for all hazardous shipper boxes.Other activities as assigned.What's in it for you: Competitive Salary $65,000-$70,000/Year + Bonus and Benefits Health, Vision and Dental401K And Life Insurance OptionsIf you are a candidate with the relevant experience for this role, please apply directly, or email me at: kelly.taylor@ for quickest reply.
