What You'll Do: + Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing specialty medications, especially for gastroenterology treatments. + Process prescription orders, verify insurance coverage, and manage prior authorizations with precision. + Maintain accurate patient records using top-tier EHR systems like EPIC, ModMed, or SDS. + Support inventory management-ordering, stocking, and tracking expiration dates. + Communicate with patients about medication instructions, refills, and insurance questions. + Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure timely and safe medication delivery. + Perform administrative tasks including data entry, labeling, and packaging prescriptions. + Uphold HIPAA regulations and pharmacy compliance standards. What You Bring: + High school diploma or equivalent (Pharmacy Technician training program preferred). + Active Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) or in progress. + 1+ years of experience in retail, hospital, or specialty pharmacy preferred. + Familiarity with gastroenterology medications is a plus. + Proficiency in EHR systems and pharmacy software. + Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a team-first mindset.
