Job Description

We are looking for additional support for our maintenance team to effectively run our new conveyor system and support the operations team through the exciting change in our brand new warehouse that launched in October 2024!Essential Duties and Responsibilities1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment, includingconveyors, sortation systems, and automated storage and retrieval systems. Inspect andtroubleshoot automated conveyance and sortation.2. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential problems.3. Plan, schedule, and implement corrective actions using available tools and equipment.4. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track & complete workorders, log maintenance activities, and manage inventory of spare parts.5. Create maintenance schedules; generate, open and close work orders electronically.6. Learn basic controls programming and troubleshoot PLCs and VFDs.7. Troubleshoot and analyze root cause for machine malfunctions to include photo-eyesensors, conveyor motors, belts, rollers, stretch wrappers, dock doors, etc.8. Read and interpret schematic drawing for motor controls circuits.9. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to minimizedowntime.10. Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.11. Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and departments to ensure efficientworkflow and communication.12. Perform safety inspections on maintenance and production areas.13. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for allemployees. (i.e. Lockout tagout and OSHA Standards)14. Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance staff.15. Clean and assist with upkeep of facilities.Qualifications1. Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards in accordance withOriginal Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.2. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a distribution orfulfillment center environment.3. Preferred: 2+ years experience with automated conveyor systems and repairing MHE.4. Preferred: Technical certification and associate degree or higher in a related field.5. 3+ years of experience with basic trades and troubleshooting electrical systems up to 480v.6. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems; including PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs.7. Must have outstanding attendance, and be able to work a flexible schedule.8. Must be organized and able to problem solve, multitask, and prioritize work.9. Ability to work independently and adapt to priority changes to maximize equipmentavailability.10. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.11. Experience with CMMS software for managing maintenance activities.12. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team membersand other departments.13. Previous experience operating PIT equipment (work at height expected).Physical Demands• Able to stand/walk for up to 8-12 hours• Able to push/pull, bend, lift, stretch and reach both below the waist and above the head• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
