Job Title JIRA/ Atlassian Admin/ Developer Location Houston, TX (Onsite) Duration 12+ Months Contract JOB DESCRIPTION : ? Development, Administer, configure, and customize JIRA Cloud projects, workflows, permission schemes, fields, and issue types.? Develop and implement secure and scalable automation rules using JIRA Cloud Automation and ScriptRunner for Cloud.? Build and manage integrations with AWS-hosted systems, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise tools (e.g., Confluence, Bitbucket, ServiceNow, Jenkins, IAM).? Ensure compliance with banking regulatory requirements, including SDLC traceability, audit logging, and access controls.? Support Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and reporting dashboards for leadership and regulatory stakeholders.? Manage JIRA Cloud performance, storage, and user provisioning in collaboration with cloud infrastructure and security teams.? Participate in Cloud migration efforts, instance cleanups, and ongoing optimization of the JIRA Cloud environment.? Apply security best practices in user and project configuration, API access, and data handling within the AWS environment. ? 3+ years of experience with JIRA Cloud development, administration and development, preferably in a financial services or regulated environment.? Hands-on experience integrating JIRA Cloud with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch).? Proficiency in ScriptRunner for Cloud, JIRA REST APIs, and JIRA Automation Rules.? Strong knowledge of Agile delivery models and experience working in a compliance-heavy banking environment.? Familiarity with enterprise access control, encryption, audit readiness, and change management processes.? Comfortable working with identity providers (SAML/SSO) and federated access via AWS IAM or similar.?
