With multiple facilities and a multi-shift operation, they've built a strong reputation over several decades for technical innovation and reliability in demanding manufacturing environments.The culture emphasizes collaboration, continuous improvement, and a hands-on approach, with many team members having long tenure and a deep commitment to quality and innovation.Job DescriptionThe Quality Manager will:Lead and develop a quality team of direct and indirect reports, ensuring skill growth and strong performanceOversee and improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9102)Implement and maintain quality processes, procedures, and documentation across the departmentUse statistical tools and root cause analysis to identify and resolve quality issuesConduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure product and process reliabilityCollaborate with design engineering to integrate quality standards into product developmentManage supplier quality systems, including audits and supplier performance improvementOversee incoming and final inspection processes to maintain material and product qualityGenerate quality metrics and reports, driving data-informed continuous improvement initiativesPartner with manufacturing and other departments to address bottlenecks and improve on-time deliveryEnsure cross-functional communication with production, engineering, supply chain, and leadership teams on quality mattersFoster a culture of quality and accountability across all shifts and employee levels within the plant MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
