We are currently hiring for a **Maintenance Technician** role on the **day shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)** with **overtime available** . This position is part of our **Engineering and Technical Services** team and plays a key role in maintaining building systems and equipment to ensure smooth operations. **Why consider this role?** + Work in a dynamic, innovative facility + Free on-site parking + On-site dining options + Stable day shift schedule + Opportunity for overtime **What You'll Do:** + Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems including + Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs: including Locksmith, Carpentry, Paint & Patch duties. + Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems: + Operate forklift and scissor lift + Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion. + Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently. + Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations. + Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner. + Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail. + Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance. **What You'll Need:** + High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. + Must possess a valid driver license + Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. + Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. + Communication skills to exchange straightforward information. + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
