CDL B Driver - Street Sweeping (Nights)

Job Summary: SCA is seeking an experienced and safety-focused CDL B Driver to join our team in Memphis, TN. In this role, you'll operate a Broom Sweeper or Dump/Follow Truck to support construction and municipal projects by removing debris and helping maintain clean, safe roadways. This position plays a critical role in traffic safety and roadway cleanliness and requires overnight work and occasional travel. If you're dependable, skilled with equipment, and committed to high-quality work, we want to hear from you. * Hours: Sunday through Thursday from 7:00 PM - 4:00 AM * Location: 2355 Frisco Ave, Memphis, TN 38114 * Starting Pay: $23 per hour, depending on experience Job Responsibilities: * Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on Broom Sweeper or Dump/Follow Truck * Review and follow assigned routes; clarify any uncertainties before departure * Operate assigned vehicles safely and effectively, following all DOT and company guidelines * Remove debris such as broken pavement, asphalt, mud, or seasonal road waste * Tow attenuator equipment to divert traffic and assist Broom Sweeper operations * Complete all assigned work within expected timelines while maintaining high quality standards * Required to get out of vehicle to pick large debris and materials on the roadway/highway * Use caution in inclement weather and report any equipment issues or incidents within 8 hours * Overnight travel may be required based on project needs * Assist other locations as needed * Perform other duties as assigned Job Requirements: * CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement * Prefer at least 2 years of driving experience * Clean driving record and valid DOT Medical Card * Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching * Comfortable working in outdoor environments and variable weather conditions * Willingness to be exposed to noise, vibration, fumes, grease, and other environmental factors * Requires regular use of hands for operating controls and tools * Must have clear vision (near and far) and depth perception * Must be reliable, safety-oriented, and able to operate equipment for extended periods Benefits of Joining SCA: * Full benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) * Company-paid life insurance * Optional benefits: short-term/long-term disability, accident, and critical illness insurance * Paid vacation and sick time * Weekly pay on Fridays * On Demand Pay via Ceridian Dayforce - access your earnings anytime * Career growth and training opportunities within a leading industry provider Ready to take the next step in your career?
