Position Summary:Crescent Energy is in search of a Reservoir Engineering Technician to complete advanced and complex tasks in support of the engineering staff, specifically the Asset Management & Reservoir teams. The Reservoir Engineering Technician will engage in substantive database management, information gathering, reporting, data analytics, and economic support. To be successful in this position, we're looking for a self-starter who wants to work as a member of a busy team, is interested in learning new skills, and is flexible and adaptable as priorities change.Duties & ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update reservoir engineering ARIES and SQL databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibilityCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, geologists, accountants, and GIS personnel to advance and support company projectsBuild Spotfire projects to display and track key forecast, production, and operational data to enable efficient data analysesWork with business intelligence team to build and maintain Spotfire information links to company data warehousePerform engineering calculations and preliminary analyses for interpretation of relevant dataGather and analyze data in support of management/board level reports and presentationsPeriodically perform process and data audits to ensure data quality and consistencyAssist engineers in the investigation and gathering technical and financial data in support of projects; coordinate with other departments as neededProvide technical and financial data to support presentations by reservoir and engineering staffRequired Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAssociate's degree or equivalent3-8 years of reservoir engineering technician or relevant oil and gas experience Ability to work and problem solve independently with limited guidanceAdvanced SQL and/or Access database knowledge to facilitate ARIES database managementAdvanced ARIES, Spotfire (or Power BI), and MS Office experienceAdvanced communication and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast paced multi-disciplinary environment to achieve team, department and corporate goalsPreferred Education & Experience:Bachelor's Degree5+ years of reservoir engineering technician and/or combination of O&G related experience* Hiring Notes: Title will be commiserated with experience*Crescent Energy is an equal opportunity employer.
