Responsible to carry out the purpose of Root River Community Church: "Root River Community Church exists to help people in small towns throughout the Root River area to have a life-giving relationship with Jesus."Overview Job Title: Harmony Campus Pastor Accountable To: Lead Pastor Position Status: Salaried, exempt Direct Reports: Campus Staff, VolunteersResponsibilitiesCampus Leadership Build relationships with current and potential members Lead the development of the Harmony campus Oversee all ministry teams for weekend services at campus including: Worship, Kids' ministry, Hospitality, etc. Follow up with guests and help them take next steps Ensure facility is functional, organized, and clean Recruit volunteers for serve teams at campus and implement leadership development processPastoral Care Counsel individuals and couples as needed Officiate weddings and funerals as requested Assist the crisis care ministry (with others) for hospital visits, death in family, marriage issues, etc. Develop and implement a plan for ongoing leadership training and encouragement, and ensure all ministries he is responsible for are raising up leaders through the leadership Provide general ministry oversight and assistance as needed and assignedQualifications Strong desire to see lives in the local community transformed by the gospel and the Church mobilized to live out the Great Commission A person skilled in recruiting, training, vision casting, and developing others A mature and tested faith in Jesus Christ with a strong knowledge of the Bible Ability to work independently and to complete tasks within established timeframes Ability to work effectively with members, ministry leaders, and teams The successful individual must have a proven track record of effective leadership, judgment and above reproach characterRoot River Community Church Participation Expectations Be a member in good standing Attend weekend services regularly Participate in groups, Bible Studies, key events, etc.Behavioral Objectives Christ-like attitude Cheerleader of people Empowering others Teachable spirit ConfidentialityTo be considered for this position, please complete the application to include your testimony, resume and other background information related to the position.If the district office has reviewed your application and they think you may be a potential match for the position, that the hiring manager will reach out to you for next steps.This position requires licensing with The Christian & Missionary Alliance.
