Seek qualified suppliers from Procurement Category Managers by sharing new product drawings or other information. Send/receive RFQs and RFPs to Suppliers Collate and compare supplier responses to RFQ/RFP Conduct supplier down-select process and meeting with internal stakeholders. Schedule and/or attend weekly supplier meetings during development/NPD phase of project. Take meeting minutes/action items and distribute. Negotiate business terms and pricing, cost reduction schedules with suppliers and execute supply and distribution agreements with support of JnJ legal department. Enable suppliers to successfully deliver validation lots of products by exercising project management skills, conducting meetings, holding stakeholders accountable for action items. Report COGS to Supply Chain team. Report standard costs to Finance team. Coordinate with Planning for issuance of initial production purchase orders. Required Skills & Experience4 years experience in sourcing or supply chain or equivalent working with suppliers on business terms and pricing, quoting, supplier selection process, negotiating 4 years experience in medical devices field College degree Proficient in MS Office/Office 365 Ability to read/understand schedules and Gantt charts Work experience or employment with a medical devices manufacturer Nice to Have Skills & ExperienceAssertive self starter Able to take high level instruction and to prioritize and deliver requested output Able to self-manage time and priorities Possesses Email/office acumen Well written and spoken Possesses executive presence sufficient to instill confidence in others.
