Preconstruction Manager - Commercial ConstructionPosition OverviewThe Preconstruction Manager will oversee the planning and development phases of commercial construction projects, ensuring that all aspects of project estimation, design, and scheduling align with the client's vision and project specifications. This role focuses on delivering high-quality preconstruction services for various sectors, including K-12 education, multifamily ground up projects, and hospitality.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the preconstruction process, including cost estimation, budgeting, and scheduling for commercial construction projects.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project plans and specifications.Prepare detailed estimates and proposals using industry-standard software such as Bluebeam and Procore.Conduct site visits and assessments to inform project planning and decision-making.Manage and coordinate the preconstruction team to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the preconstruction phase.Provide leadership and mentorship to junior estimators and preconstruction staff.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in preconstruction management within the commercial construction industry.Proficient in construction estimation software, specifically Bluebeam and Procore.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and codes.Experience with K-12, multifamily, and hospitality projects is highly desirable.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Estimating projects on an average of +$50M in Total Value Benefits Vacation/PTOMedicalDentalVision401kBonusRelocationTelecommute
