Description Top Skills Looking for in a candidate: - Previous hands-on lab experience-if in cardiac lab that is a plus - Medical Device Testing- Usage of electrical equipment used to conduct lab testing and familiar with lab procedures - Product development set up and support experience MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE Applies subject matter knowledge to assist and support the designing of new products and processes and improving and maintaining existing products. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES - Under limited supervision assist in the testing of medical devices undergoing the development process in the preclinical laboratory environment. - Requires capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge. - Assists in the planning design and development of test requirements and any special testing equipment/apparatus to establish product and/or customer specifications. - Supports performance testing of prototypes accordingly to verify product reliability and performance requirements. - Assists in the development of engineering documentation for new products or product changes. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOULL BRING - Minimum 2 years previous lab experience. - Previous knowledge of medical device testing and undergoing the development process of products is a plus but not required. - Education Level-bachelors or associate degree-Major/Field of Study- Biology Health Sciences Mathematics Computer Science or equivalent Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
