Staffmark is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a direct hire role in Muncie, IN, with a leading manufacturer of custom plastic solutions. Hours & Pay Schedule: 12-hour shifts (must be flexible to meet operational needs) Pay Rate: $27-$35 per hour, based on experience What You'll Be Doing As a Maintenance Technician, you'll support the daily operations of a dynamic plastics production facility by ensuring all machinery and systems are running efficiently. You'll troubleshoot problems, perform repairs, and support preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. Daily Tasks Include: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment Operate shop tools: welders, torches, saws, grinders, and more Execute planned maintenance to ensure machine reliability Read and interpret schematics and technical documents Utilize CMMS to manage work orders and inventory Perform welding, fabrication, and mechanical troubleshooting Operate forklifts and aerial lifts as needed Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations Maintain thorough maintenance records and documentation Why You'll Love This Role Our client offers a competitive salary and benefits package that starts on Day One.
