They handle everything from earthmoving and grading to laying underground utility lines and constructing strong foundational systems, ensuring sites are ready for safe and efficient development.Job DescriptionThe candidate will be responsibile for:Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and drawingsCalculate accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractorsPrepare detailed bid proposals and cost breakdowns for site work, utilities, and civil construction projectsCollaborate with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to gather necessary dataConduct quantity take-offs and assess project scope to ensure comprehensive estimatesResearch and source current market prices for materials and laborIdentify potential risks and contingencies affecting project costsMaintain and update historical cost databases for future referenceAssist in negotiating contracts and finalizing bids with clients and subcontractorsEnsure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies in cost projectionsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
