With annual revenue exceeding $145 million, our client continues to drive excellence across the industry.Job DescriptionThe Superintendent - K-12/Commercial Projects - Washington, DC will be responsible for:Lead end-to-end project management, ensuring alignment with plans, specifications, timelines, and overall project goalsCoordinate closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to maintain clear, consistent communication and smooth project executionManage on-site construction teams with strong leadership and interpersonal skills, promoting a collaborative, high-performing environmentBring experience across a range of project types, including healthcare, higher education, K-12, libraries, multifamily, and office spacesApply GC expertise to effectively supervise subcontractors and ensure quality, timely delivery of workRepresent our client's core values on-site by leading with integrity and fostering a respectful, team-oriented cultureProactively identify and address project risks, safety concerns, and other challenges throughout the construction processMaintain comprehensive project records, including daily progress updates, safety documentation, and quality control reports MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful ApplicantThe Superintendent - K-12/Commercial Projects - Washington, DC will have:At least 5 years of hands-on construction experienceProven track record managing diverse project types, including healthcare, higher education, K-12, libraries, multifamily, and office spacesExperience with ground-up construction projects is requiredSolid background in General Contracting (GC) operationsSkilled in subcontractor coordination and on-site managementStrong leadership abilities with a history of successfully directing construction teamsThorough understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and industry standardsExcellent verbal and written communication skills to support effective collaboration across all stakeholdersCommitted to upholding safety, quality, and community-focused valuesStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate challenges proactivelyExperience on mission-driven projects that reflect our client's core values and community impact focus is a plusWhat's on OfferThe Superintendent - K-12/Commercial Projects - Washington, DC will receive:Competitive base salary: $110,000-$135,000 USD, depending on experiencePerformance-based bonus structureCar allowance providedComprehensive benefits package including 100% paid medical, dental, and vision coverageGenerous paid time off: 20 days PTO, plus sick leave and federal holidaysAdditional perks and benefitsContactCarolyn BayhaQuote job refJN-082025-6805273
