Due to growth in the pipeline, they are looking to bring on an experienced and dedicated Estimator to join the team!Job DescriptionConduct comprehensive reviews of essential construction documents, including plans, blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.Identify qualified suppliers and subcontractors, and request multiple bids for each work scope to ensure competitive pricing.Develop material take-offs to establish or verify accurate cost estimates.Evaluate prospective vendors, suppliers, and contractors for project suitability, and negotiate favorable pricing and terms.Analyze submitted bids for accuracy and completeness, compiling a detailed cost estimate encompassing materials, labor, equipment, and other necessary expenses.Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to gain a thorough understanding of the project's desired outcomes.Apply industry knowledge and professional judgment to select the most appropriate vendors, contractors, construction methods, and materials based on project requirements and specifications.Represent the company with professionalism and integrity in all communications, fostering positive relationships with potential clients and vendors.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
