Payroll Manger

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Payroll Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $102,000 to $105,000 per year. Job Responsibilities: Serve as the Primary Payroll Administrator for payroll systems and oversee related tasks.Manage and process bi-weekly payroll accurately and in a timely manner.Administer automatic deposit requests, maintain payroll records, and prepare required reports.Conduct bi-weekly audits to ensure accurate interpretation of pay practices and contracts, partnering with HR as needed.Supervise Payroll Assistants or temporary payroll help, providing guidance and support. Requirements: A bachelor's degree or possess an equivalent combination of education and work experience.A minimum of 4+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably with outside vendors like Paycom or ADP.Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with knowledge of payroll tax laws, regulations, and controls.Show reliability, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines consistently. Qualifications: Demonstrate at least 5+ years of leadership experience, including staff supervision, training, and performance evaluations.Possess exceptional attention to detail, accountability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Maintain the highest integrity and ensure confidentiality in handling sensitive information.Exhibit excellent customer service skills with an employee-focused mindset.Preferably hold a current Certified Payroll Professional certification and a proven track record managing a payroll base of 400+ employees.
