Warehouse Material Handler 1

We are hiring for multiple positions across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Include packaging materials, maintaining inventory, assisting operators, and handling materials using forklifts and overhead cranes. Candidates should be comfortable working in a hot environment and follow safety protocols. Experience in steel manufacturing or warehouse operations is preferred, and forklift/crane experience is a plus. We offer competitive pay starting at $20 per hour with potential to reach $22, along with a benefits package effective on Day 31 of employment. Additional perks include employee lunches, wellness programs, and weekly pay. * Package material according to the Shop Order using the Packaging Profile or as instructed. * Maintain inventory of supplies, banding, seals, edge protectors, paper separators, and skids. * Skidding material. * Generate computer-assisted setup. * Select proper knives, set up slitter head, and select and lay out tooling. * Assist operator/helper and check shipping paperwork. * Load/unload coils onto flatbed trucks/railcars using forklift and overhead crane. * Proper placement of coils in the warehouse. * Inspect, measure, and use tools required for jobs in production and shipping departments. * Additional duties as assigned by supervisor/manager in shipping and production. * Must be able to walk, stand, and bend. * Positive attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to work as part of a team. * Safety-minded at all times. * Ability to work in a hot environment. * Forklift and Overhead Crane experience is desirable. * Must be able to follow instructions accurately and manage time effectively. * Must be willing to work overtime and flexible shifts.
