PrideStaff is seeking a hardworking and reliable Machine Operator located in Fort Mill, SC. You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control. Must have longevity in prior roles to be considered.Location: Fort Mill, SC 29708Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PMPay $18/hr. Job Description: As a Machine Operator you are responsible for the efficiency and output of work orders assigned to the machine. In addition, machine operators are responsible for meeting or exceeding expectations throughout packaging and quality processes as outlined for each customer order based on specifications.Functions/Responsibilities:Conduct, behavior and actions in accordance with core values of Caring, Creativity, Determination, Dependability and TeamworkQuality control- serve as a material inspector to assure that all quality standards have been metProcess orders-responsible for understanding and processing of customer specific details listed on the work order such as:LengthWidthCore size and core attachmentSplices/Splice type if anyOD ParametersOther special customer requirements as indicated on the comment section while operating within standard operating proceduresSetting up machines to start a production cycle in the proper mannerPackage material based on specification outlines on Work Order such as:WrappingPallet Size and TypeQuantity and OrientationEfficiency- work in the most productive and efficient manner while maintaining safe operating practices and quality workmanshipUse systems and/or paperwork for accurate recording of time, consumption, output, and quality notes as requiredRaise any issues or concerns that arise during day-to-day work to the Supervisor, Plant Manager or PresidentQualifications:Skills:Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods. Must be able to reach, push and pull 30 pounds and up to 50 pounds with assistance. Must be able to communicate with others and complete ISO documentation accurately.This job description provides a general description of the work performed and is not an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities.
